The International Seminar on Application for Technology of Information and Communication (iSemantic) is a premier international conference organized by Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. Technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Indonesia Section and IEEE PES Indonesia Chapter, iSemantic proudly celebrates its 11th anniversary in 2026. iSemantic 2026 conference will be held hybrid on 18-20 September 2026 in Semarang, Indonesia.
Since its inception, papers presented at iSemantic from 2016 to 2025 have been consistently published in IEEE Xplore. The conference has attracted authors from over 16 countries, fostering a diverse and global academic community. With over a decade of experience, iSemantic is a well-established and professionally managed platform, dedicated to hosting high-quality research for publication in the iSemantic proceedings.
iSemantic 2026 carries the theme:
“Harnessing Computational Modeling and Optimization for Resilient Energy Transitions”
This theme was specifically chosen to address the critical global challenge of energy transition. As global energy demands continue to rise and fossil fuel reserves dwindle, the shift toward renewable energy has become an urgent necessity. Consequently, cutting-edge research regarding energy transitions will be a key highlight of iSemantic 2026.

We encourage multidisciplinary applications across the fields of engineering, economics, culture, and health.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by competent experts in the field. Papers that successfully pass the review and incorporate the required revisions will be accepted and must be presented orally. All presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Indexing and Publication
Three ISBN publications will be produced with all the accepted and presented papers.
Only Accepted and presented papers within the scope of IEEE will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore.
Thus, non-presented papers will be suppressed from submission for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore.
