1. Disclosure of AI-Generated Content<\/strong>
Authors must disclose any AI-generated content, including: Text, code, figures, images
Disclosures should be made in the Acknowledgments section, and must specify:
\u2022 Which AI system\/tool was used
\u2022 Which parts of the manuscript were AI-generated
\u2022 How the tool was used in the research or writing process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. AI for Language Editing<\/strong>
If AI is used only for grammar, spelling, tone, or formatting improvements on human-written text, disclosure is not strictly required, but still recommended for transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Prohibited AI Uses<\/strong>
The following AI uses are not allowed:
\u2022 Submitting AI-generated content outside the scope of legitimate experimental analysis
\u2022 Using confidential manuscripts as input to public AI tools (breach of confidentiality)
\u2022 Fabrication or manipulation of: Data, figures and code (Especially when it misrepresents or distorts research findings)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Human Accountability<\/strong>
\u2022 Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and ethical integrity of their manuscripts.
\u2022 AI contributions do not remove author liability, even if the AI generated specific sections.
\u2022 All AI outputs must be verified for truthfulness and proper attribution.
\u2022 IEEE aligns with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards on authorship and misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 5. No AI Authorship<\/strong>
\u2022 AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
\u2022 Only human contributors meet authorship requirements due to legal accountability and ethical responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarity Policy and Artificial Intelligent (AI)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authors are required to ensure that the similarity rating of your manuscript is less than 20%. Submissions with a similarity rating of 20% or above will be dropped and no longer considered for iSemantic 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isemantic supports the responsible and transparent use of AI tools in scholarly publishing. Any AI-generated content must be disclosed in the Acknowledgments section. Authors must specify which AI system was used, what sections it contributed to, and how it was applied. In accordance with IEEE policy.
AI used solely for language, grammar, tone, or formatting improvements on human-written text is generally exempt from strict disclosure, though ISemantic still recommends disclosure in these cases to promote transparency.
Prohibited uses include submitting AI-generated content that is not part of legitimate experimental work, uploading confidential manuscripts to public AI tools, or using AI to fabricate or manipulate research data, figures, or code.
Authors are fully accountable for all content, including sections assisted by AI. They must ensure accuracy, originality, and ethical compliance. 
AI tools cannot be credited as authors, as authorship requires human accountability for content accuracy and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
