He is the founding director of the Advanced Research Institute at Virginia Tech. He have served as the chair of the US National Science Foundation Advisory Committee for International Science and Engineering. He is the founder of BEM Controls, LLC, a software company which provides building energy efficiency solutions. He have trained over forty doctoral/postdoctoral students. He is a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Power & Energy Society, and have lectured in over 30 countries on Smart Grid, IoT and Sustainable Energy in six continents. He had awarded the IEEE Millennium Medal in 2000 for outstanding achievements and contributions to IEEE. He is a 2014 Honoree of the IEEE Technical Activities Board Hall of Honor. Hereceived the Outstanding Power Engineering Educator Award from PES in 2013. I received the Meritorious Service Award in 2012, the highest award bestowed by PES. IHereceived the IEEE-USA Professional Achievement Award in 2011.
Heru Agus Santoso, Ph.D is a Distinguished Doctor in Multimedia University, Malaysia. He has finished his Ph.D at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics – MMU under the supervision of Dr. Haw Su Cheng dan Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Chien Sing. During his study for about 3.5 years, Heru has written several papers published in international conferences. He is also an active writer and peer reviewer of the international journal of Knowledge-Based Systems – Elsevier which has impact factor of 5. His current position is dean Faculty of Engineering after being Head of Bachelor Informatics Engineering Program for seven years. Being able to got several research achievement and academic position, he develop research environment between student and lecturer in IoT and Chatbot lab. Dinus Automatic System of Hydroponic Based IoT (Dashi) one of his research to fulfill Industy 4.0 in Indonesia has Anticipating failure in planting techniques using water or hydroponics. Through this application, farmers can monitor their crops on various sides. Such as humidity, room temperature, water PH content, water density and even being able to automatically add water, if the water in the reservoir is reduced or below a predetermined limit.
Prof.Ir.Gamantyo Hendrantoro M.Eng.,Ph.D was born in Jombang, Indonesia in 1970. He received Bachelor degree in Elektro from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, Indonesia, 1992, Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. and PhD in Carleton University, in 1995 and 2001 respectively. Beside being lecturer at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, he has many achievements such as getting R.F. Chinnick Scholarship Award, at Telesat Canada in 2000. A year later he was awarded the Post-Graduate Award for Research Excellence from the Canadian Institute for Telecommunications Research (CITR). He also won the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in 2005. In the same year he won the 3rd Best Outstanding Lecturer at the National Level from the Ministry of National Education., Digital Library, Information Retrieval, Information System, and Software Engineering.
Muhammad Shahzad Nazir, Associate Professor: received, masters in Electrical Engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, and a Ph.D. (Power system and Automation) from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China in the year 2012, and 2018 respectively. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Automation with Huaiyin Institute of Technology, Huai’an, Jiangsu, China. He is also the Member of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineers. Dr. Shahzad is also serving as a reviewer of reputed top ranked SCI-indexed journals. He has authored and co-authored in top ranked SCI-indexed journals such as Journal of Energy Storage, Control Engineering Practice, Sustainability, and SAGE publishing. He authored a book Renewable Energy published by LAP LAMBERT Publishing, Germany. Dr. Shahzad’s main research interest includes renewable energy technologies, wind power, power system protection and control, power electronics design & its application in power systems, environmental engineering.
